AUTHOR POV
"Iva... wake up. Utho jaldi," her mother called from outside the room.
"Maa, let me sleep for some more minutes," Ivara mumbled, pulling the blanket over her head.
"Iva, wake up or I won't give you your energy drink."
She shot up instantly. "Mom! That's not fair. You know I can't start my day without chai."
"I know, dramebaaz. That's why sleep, or sacrifice your chai."
"Fineeee, Mom. Uth gayi," Ivara said, making a pout.
"Good. Now go get ready and come downstairs fast."
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Ivara came downstairs and saw her little sunshine running around the house.
So her brother had already come home.
A wide smile spread across her face. She rushed forward and hugged him tightly.
"Bhaiya! I missed you."
Vedant hugged her back just as warmly. "Missed you too, bachha. Kaisi hai?"
"I'm good, bhaiya. Where is bhabhi?"
"She's in her room," Vedant replied.
"Tulippp! You won't hug me?"
A tiny voice piped up from behind.
Ivara turned and gasped dramatically. "Arey, my baby! How can I forget you, meri jaan? You're my favorite, you know that naa?"
"Yes, Tulip, you're also my favorite," little Trisha said proudly, placing her tiny hands on her hips.
Ivara's heart melted at her cuteness.
"I'm not your favorite?" Ishana said from behind, pretending to be offended.
Trisha thought for a second and replied seriously, "Little less than Tulip... but I love you too, Isha bua."
And everyone burst out laughing at Trisha's innocent honesty.
After some time, Ivara went to her bhabhi's room. Ahana was arranging a few things in the cupboard.
Ivara walked up to her and hugged her from behind. "How are you, bhabhi?"
Ahana turned slightly and smiled. "Iva? Tum... I'm good. How are you, bachhe?"
"I'm good, bhabhi. I got your dark coffee."
"Oh, thank you, honey. I really needed this," Ahana replied softly.
"I know, bhabhi. Now drink this and take some rest."
"Hmm," she nodded gently.
Ahana speaks very little. She's an introvert like Ivara. But the difference is that Ivara is a loud introvert, while Ahana is quiet and reserved.
Ivara understands Ahana's nature deeply, and Ahana adores Iva just as much. Their bond is warm, comfortable, and unspoken but strong.
After a few hours
"Let's go! We're getting late," Vinay called out. "We'll miss the flight at this rate!"
The entire Roy family rushed around the house in chaos, bags being dragged, phones being searched, last-minute instructions flying everywhere.
They were heading to Udaipur for Ishana's wedding.
Ishana had always dreamed of a grand wedding, something straight out of a royal fairytale. After much discussion, both families agreed ,Udaipur would be the perfect destination.
A few hours later, they finally reached.
As they stepped out, the palace stood before them ... divinely beautiful, glowing under the golden sun, with intricate carvings and a majestic touch of royalty. The marble shimmered, chandeliers sparkled through tall windows, and the entire place felt like something out of a dream.
It wasn't just a venue.
It felt like a kingdom.
RAICHAND FAMILY
"Jaldi kijiye sab! We have to reach on time!" Abhiraj Raichand shouted from the hall.
Mohini walked in, adjusting her saree. "Jaisi maa, vaise unke bachhe. Koi kaam jaldi kar le, ho hi nahi sakta."
Ethan rolled his eyes in irritation.
Unlike most kids, Ethan was never very close to his dadu and dadi. There was always a distance, silent, unspoken... but present.
Shaurya came from behind, his voice calm but firm. "Yeh behas ka time nahi hai. Please, sab log nikliye."
Abhiraj looked at him. "Kab aaoge, beta?"
"Babuji, I'll reach on the wedding day," Shaurya replied.
Ethan and Ayaan exchanged a subtle glance and sighed in relief.
Vedika noticed. She glared at both of them sharply, making them straighten immediately.
After all the usual family drama, they finally left for Udaipur.
A few hours later, the entire Raichand family reached the palace.
The grandeur left everyone stunned. The architecture, the carvings, the royal aura ... everything felt magnificent.
"Arav bhaiya, you chose a great destination," Ayaan said, admiring the view.
Arav gave a faint smile. "Sab lady luck ka kamal hai."
